At the moment we take great pains with the exposition and events program. Now already we have 37 calligraphers from 14 countries who confirmed they would come to Velikiy Novgorod and demonstrate their skills on live performances and lectures. All the main schools and calligraphy traditions are to be demonstrated: ancient Chinese, Korean, Tibetan and Mongolian, classical Arabic and refined Iranian calligraphy, and contemporary European calligraphy, and of course a rich collection of East Slavonic scripts written by the Russian, Ukrainian and Serbian masters. To mention, over 100 calligraphers will participate in the exhibition and more than 60 of them will create an artwork specially for the Novgorod exhibit.
